Pretty much... makes this team competitive and see what St. Louis can do with a real team. No prospect is guaranteed to be good. PLD and Huberdeau have proved it. And think of the TV ratings in the city.

I generally tend to agree with you in regards to prospects. That's why a team that is ready to make a push, or wants to get over the edge (win a cup versus 3rd round lets say) shouldn't hoard picks and prospects. The Canadiens are not in those situations though. Trading Barron and Harris is just silly with how young they are and they have been playing in the NHL. They're not guys in juniors or overseas. Also, I can absolutely guarantee you that the Canadiens both 1.) will be ****ed with the cap implications of Huberdeau's extension and possible decline and 2.) are not concerned at all about their TV ratings and financial situation.

no way too much risk that the fracophone wont handle the pressure of montreal and huberdeau got overpaid by cgy and we dont need that problem when suzuki outpreforms him and is the captain and is getting paid alot less... no huberdeau thk you
