Jim Benning. I'm not quite sure what you expect. Canucks actually had a decent 2014 draft with McCann, Demko, and Forsling. Too bad Jimbo shipped McCann and Forsling off before they could actually develop. Also blows my mind that Gudbranson was a top 3 pick. I mean imagine a guy like Simon Nemec becomes Gudbranson

Dunn is a true #1 D. 58 pts in 71 games, great two way play. They should be adding to the Dcore but they just need a 2nd pair D. They should target someone like Brannstrom, younger D with breakout potential.

The goaltending does suck, they need to figure that out

I feel Dunn would be better overall in a 2nd pair role with them. They need a true #1 D. As I feel this is one of those everything is going right for Dunn this season rn

What more does Dunn have to do to prove he’s a #1 D? Plays 24 min a game, is 2nd to Erik karlsson in even strength points , shuts down other teams top players. Isn’t that what a true #1 D does? His team is one of the best in the league this season mainly because of his play on D

He needs to show he can do it for more than 1 season. He has always been a good player, but it is only this season that he has broken out into a top pair guy.

What is going on with Jack Hughes? His production has dried up a bit in the last while and his defense went from very good to replacement level

He's gotta show he can do it again, but this season he has been mighty impressive.

I feel the same way about Morrissey. Though I'm more confident in Dunn

I agree , a lot of the things he's doing is sustainable. He driving play, he's always been a good shooter. His defensive play has consistently been strong throughout his career.
