Keep on dreaming Canucks fans tears of joy . Deja vu, terrible season but late coaching change has everyone positive about next year…cue ridiculous Canucks fans trade proposals at year end. Hit repeat.

Might be, tough division. But we already have canuckle heads like yourself posting ridonculous trade proposals so I misspoke saying deja vu, more like ‘a fait accompli’. Like I said just hit repeat next season when you fire the coach in Feb and miss the playoffs again

Fine with me. At least they will try and we all see where Pettersson is going. Big difference when ppl saw Bo as the top dog but now Vancouver has one plus a Bure repeat to go along with. Reality is, they need a third center and to replace Myers. Both are doable.

I made this post given Dubas' occasional wildcard and aggressive approach. Moving Sandin was an abysmal decision. Whose to say it won't happen again? The heat will be peak next year for him. Hopefully he doesn't blow it all up on the way out.

Moving Sandin was a win - win; what a hockey trade is supposed to be. Leafs get a comparable player to Sandin for playoff run plus a much needed 1st round draft pick to start re stocking cupboards. Caps get a young cost controlled D who has shown signs, but not yet proven he can play top 4. With Reilly signed long term, Sandin was redundant. And as a Leafs fan who watches every game - no way he was playing in top 6 in playoffs this year, and he’d be bottom pair next year. So nice work by Dubas
