Trading for McDavid would be impossible. You would have to have an already cup caliber team that could withstand losing a huge piece of their future and a few key pieces from the current roster and still be deep enough to make a run and how many teams have that and could make it work or would want to!

Every fan wants a McDavid on their team but depleting the future and the team to get him would make it damn near impossible to make work, then you run the risk of him walking into FA leaving you desolate and defeated.
