As @MouserGuru points out below, the only way FLA could have signed Tkachuk to an 8 year deal is if he was on their reserve list at Trade Deadline, or if he was already signed through to next years Trade Deadline.Meaning that he signed with CGY first and then was traded to FLA. https://t.co/ijIY66PC9T
