Matthews doesn't ever get traded for anything but unprotected picks and top prospects.

I mean, with that trade they can keep Kane/Tarasenko and the Kids, while getting a potential high pick.. I mean, Panarin is definitely not going to waive his NMC but NYR would still consider.

It's cute seeing people who think the rangers can win a cup with panarin... dudes like 5th highest paid player and barely puts up a point per game and that's all he's does, he doesn't know what defense is and loves making half bum passes that just end up turned over...

Doesn't really matter, Kane is beloved and is the same way, has no clue what defence is and never has

Or he'll resign because he wants to play in a market that matters. Like the one he's been a huge part of and loves living in. But I see the appeal of playing in front of less than 5 k fans a night.

Everyone will rip the first 2 trades (and obviously rightfully so) but I’m just here to say you’re 0/3 bc the isles don’t consider either

First never said AZ but since you wanna bring it up they're gunna get a new arena and second LA is also a highly talked about option. I see your delusion in wanting him to stay as a fan but why would he stay when the team has done nothing and can't make it out of the first round

Literally both 1.12 ppg in their careers also the matthews trade is easily more valuable

They have not in fact finalized an arena. They won't get one because it doesn't make economic sense. A team that can't afford it's bills isn't getting a top 3 player in the game. But trolls will hang on to this for ever.

But paying for years 32-36 for Russian winger vs years 26-? for home-grown center. I’d think the latter would be more.

It's cute seeing people that think the Rangers can a win a cup with Lawson Crouse, a winger that can't fill half of one of Panarin's skates.

Have you ever watched a rangers game??? Panarin doesn't back check, he is a turnover machine, yes he get points but it's not needed when it would save cap to keep tarasenko fir a much cheaper price. The kid line is more than capable being the 2nd line then kreider zibby tank 1st line and an insane 3rd line if othmann trocheck and crouse. It's a better all around team with cap flexibility

I watch EVERY Ranger game. Panarin has his faults but when he is playing well there are very few wingers in the league that can do what he does. Crouse is nothing compared to Panarin. Othmann hasn't even played a game at the AHL level yet, so thinking a 3rd line with him would be "insane" is just wishful thinking. Hopefully he will be that good, but as of now, his NHL potential is an unknown. The Rangers need to win a Cup while Igor is cheap, which is this year and the next two seasons, and Panarin gives them a much better shot at that than a team with Crouse.

I guess agree to disagree. I think if the rangers can't do it this season it's not happening with panarin. This is the best team we've had in a long time and the cap is going to make it a real struggle especially with a one trick pony taking 14% of that cap. Also I never said Crouse is close to panarin but he's a 200 foot player and we already have the skilled players to make a good top 6 with out panarin

Yes, I agree to disagree. But it really doesn't matter because Panarin would never agree to go to the worst franchise in the league.
