Sabres should just roll with UPL and Levi/FA backup who is a 1B caliber

Levi is a future star and UPL and very good. You are set at goalie. I get it you want to compete now, but you gotta think about the window. Next season is the start where you want to make the playoffs, but I highly doubt you will make a run. Its a growing year for the younger players. Then you contend and take advantage of an aging Bruins and Tampa Bay core. Dont trade for players to stunt your younger prospects growth.
JJ Peterka will be better than Crouse and I would prefer UPL to Demko if thats the difference in prices. And Boeser will just stunt another forward. Trust the process

Vancouver refuses to admit they are not a playoff team, they won't trade their starting goalie for a struggling backup no matter what picks are included, because that is admitting defeat. As mentioned above, Get a veteran to sign a two year deal, let UPL continue to develop and call up Levi when they old guy inevitably gets injured (Hey, Raanta or Andersen sound perfect for role, maybe even call Toronto about Murray, might get a pick out of it)

I can see the appeal for Crouse, but again, patience here reigns supreme.

lol wut?

I get the advice but also inaction kills all builds. At some point you have to get savvy, otherwise you are perpetually in mediocrity.

Not a bad offer but I think the Canucks pass. If they committed to a rebuild then they probably accept

Sabre fans need to chill.
Levi could be in a Sabre uniform as soon as next year and maybe even this year.
He is 21 now and will be 22 Dec 27 of this year, just three months into next season.
I have not done extensive research but:
Hellebuyck was 22 yo when he made his NHL debut, look at his college stats see how well they mirror Devon's.
Price was only 20 yo when he won his first NHL game.
Saros was 21 yo when he became a back up Gk for NAS.
Fleury was 19 yo when he suited up for the Penguins and 21 yo when he became the starting GK.
Sure some GK take longer to develop, mortgaging the future on a GK who may walk after one year is not sound business.

Who knows maybe Devon will be the Sabres Bennington, or do as well as Hammond did for Ottawa.

If I was GM I accept or tell you to keep your first round and give me Levi.

However the current management of the Canucks won't rebuild so they likely decline but your offer is more then fair.
