This OEL trade is definitely among the most unfathomably ill-considered proposals I've seen on here. In all seriousness, he isn't worth even one of those assets alone in a 1-for-1 trade- no, not even Niemelainen. Even with retention, that's 3.7ish mil for another 4 years for a guy that probably barely scrapes by as a 2LD currently and who plays a position that EDM already has sufficiently filled both now and for the remainder of that contract. In essence, you're suggesting EDM give up Broberg, Niemo, and 3 high picks for the "right" to pay a guy 3.7mil to play as their 3LD (or maybe forces them to play a double-LD 2nd pairing) for 4 more years.
