How does Bettman have the stones to say the league is keeping tabs on teams placing players on LTIR to avoid cap issues prior to playoffs, but turns a blind eye to the tax shelter known as the Arizona Coyotes?

All signs point to Arizona refusing better offers for Chycrun if it included any salary coming back. I can't imagine they want to pay Voracek over 7 mil next year

Those things are funny until they aren't, this team is a joke to the spirit of the sport and brings shame onto this league.

All they do is draft, develop, trade for future assets and then rinse, repeat. When will this madness end?!

This is just a technicality. Not every player with a long-term injury has to go on LTIR. LTIR a vehicle to allow teams with injured players to go over the cap to replace them. If the team isn't over the cap, the player just goes on regular IR. When Arizona takes another team's LTIR player, he comes off LTIR because Arizona is under the cap.
