Comparing Boeser to Kap is insulting, man. Boeser is light years better than him, but I agree that he wouldn’t be a good fit. We already have two RWs and he plays with no physicality. Miller wouldn’t be like the Brassard ordeal, it would be like the Kessel one, just at center (which we need). He’d have his own line. 3 waves of legitimate lines again. Plus Miller is tough and physical. As for his recent attitude spells… that won’t fly with Sid in the room. It wouldn’t happen regardless because he’d be out of Van. I hope we get Miller.

After those two performances against Ottawa maybe we’ll get Bertuzzi. 😉

Exactly - thank you for bringing up the Kapanen comparison. That's exactly who I compare him to. Talented, but doesn't have a skillset that can translate to the bottom 6. If that's the type of player they wanted, they were better off just keeping Kap and playing him in the top 6. Then use the cap and asset savings to get 3rd line help.
