DÉTAILS DE LA CLAUSE: Pour les cinq premières années: clause de non-échange complète | Pour les trois dernières années: Le joueur soumet une liste de 10 équipes où il consent à être échangé.
Very good contract; will remain a Red Wing for the rest of his career.
I think the AAV is a bit high because of the RFAs coming up, but It'll work itself out
GREAT signing. I'm glad to see it. It's where he and everyone else wanted him to be. (The AAV may be a touch low due to as-yet-undisclosed NTC provisions.)
On one hand I think he has great potential and could get to 90 points a few times bc he never truly played with great players so I'll give him benefit of the doubt.
But on the other hand, he becomes a ghost for stretches, the last 3 games for instance & getting punked by the sens was a reflection of leadership to a degree.

Still going fair deal though.
Detroit was without 2 of their top 6 forwards for most of the season and they are still in the hunt for a wild card spot. I think that says a lot more about leadership than the last 2 games does.
Vasilevskiy is the reason they lost that TB game. He made 45 saves and at least 15 were impressive.
