How in the **** did Ghost go for that Cheap? That goes against everything we've seen this TD. Surely there has to be something missing here.

Is it just me or does anyone else just not see any non-playoff teams trading for Chychrun before the deadline at least.
Wouldn't it make more sense for Sens, Jackets, Blues and the like trying to trade for him around the time of the draft instead?

Maybe the jackets but then again they’d be moving the Boston 1st so who cares when it’s done .

The blues can swing those 1sts before Arizona knows the exact spots which could be really late.

Ottawa is not too far from a playoff spot and Chychrun could help now

Only way this makes sense is if Ghost is an LTIR until playoffs, but he's not. If Carolina win the cup, this trade right here is a huge part of it.
