Giving Edmonton Hedman would be a mistake. That's a ticket to the Finals for them and if TB ever manages to get there again, they will likely lose.

I mean I dunno, he only has 2 years left on his deal so he doesn't have to stay in Edmonton for too long. Playing with Mcdrai and a chance to compete (though he still would have on in tampa) does seem pre good for a ton of players. Having 2 norris worthy years and probably earning 2 ppg seasons will make his next and probably final long term contract a lot more expensive.

How much better is McDavid and Draisatl and blah blah blah than Kucherov point Stamkos Vasy and the team he's been to 3 straight Stanley Cups with and 4 in his career with? If anything McDavid should go to TB, the Florida sun looked good on him. By the end of his contract, Hedman and Stamkos will probably be taking much less, and they'll have enough to fit him in.
