Try to negotiate one of the firsts back for a second or a third and fourth/fifth, and/or try to get Domi as well. Kick the tires on Toews; if he’s going to be on LTIR until playoffs, no cap hit or risk in adding him. Of course 50% retention on Kane.

But yeah, after exploring all of that, I’d give this offer plenty of consideration.

*If I’m TOR and considering anybody else, I negotiate that in parallel to make sure I have the cap space and assets (say Gavrikov, Nyquist, Korpisalo). Empty the cupboard, win the Cup, and restock in FA.
