I bet Edmonton would want to give a 3rd instead of a 2nd. I’d demand the 2nd as stl for the cap relief. Puljujarvi is not just on the struggle bus this year, he’s driving it. Worst case scenario for stl they cut him loose after a year trial, and got a 2nd for barbashev, which to me is a fair value. One thing about Puljujarvi is he likes the puck a lot and tends to take it from the other team. With a flatter team composition like STL will have next season he may find a full time role.

Bortuzzo is probably good for a 1 more deep playoff run. A good bottom pair or 7th d-man for that. Hard to keep good vets away from the playoffs.
