1.
BOS
  1. Barbashev, Ivan
Détails additionnels:
Reported ask is a second and a prospect. Future middle-six center in Harrison, 2025 2nd (the only 2nd rounder the Bruins have in the next three drafts) and a fourth this year to make up for losing out on a 2023 second
STL
  1. Harrison, Brett
  2. Choix de 4e ronde en 2023 (BOS)
  3. Choix de 2e ronde en 2025 (BOS)
Détails additionnels:
Barbashev is a versatile and hard-working player who I think is a better Trent Frederic right now. Should fit well into Monty's system and can play up and down the lineup in case of injury.
2.
BOS
  1. Choix de 4e ronde en 2023 (TOR)
NSH
  1. Smith, Craig
  2. Choix de 1e ronde en 2023 (BOS)
Détails additionnels:
Smith has to go for cap purposes. Nashville has stated that they may be selling if their current trajectory holds, and they have a ton of cap space. They return Smith to his most successful tenure, and get a first for their troubles.
3.
BOS
  1. Schenn, Luke
Détails additionnels:
Reported price a third round pick plus. Schenn provides excellent depth on the right side and could play in the bottom four in case of injury or if Monty just wants a different look.
VAN
  1. Koppanen, Joona
  2. Choix de 3e ronde en 2023 (BOS)
Détails additionnels:
Canucks get their third round pick as asked, and the "plus" is Koppanen. I'd be a bit heartbroken if he were to get moved out, as he looked awesome in his stint with the big club this year, but his value will certainly reflect that. Huge 200-foot pivot with solid enough skating to be effective in the NHL, elite face-off taker and penalty killer. Again, would hate to see this kid go, but to win a cup I think it'd be worth it.

Umm - the Blues have cap space and would gladly take back Smith for a first and you could keep the other stuff for Barbeshev…

It does not cost a first round pick to move smith.

It shouldn't, definitely not. BUT teams don't help other teams, especially when they're as good as Boston. I think it's worth it for actual on-ice value for the cap space

A 1st, 2nd, 4th and solid prospect to get Ivan barbashev, to replace a guy who plays 10 minutes a night.

I went for realism, but also wanted to avoid the comments from Blues/Preds/Nucks fans saying that I'm overvaluing Boston's guys, being a homer. Instead, I get the opposite lol

In fairness, i think barbashev is an interesting target because he provides injury insurance for a lot of positions up and down the lineup. The bruins should be looking for that rich peverley type that can play on any line.

Just recapping it. Blues probably take a first for Barbashev half retained. Or a 3rd and maybe Lauko for Acciari. Depth pieces are usually simple moves.

Interesting thought to try to get both barbashev and acciari

If Nosek is out long term then that would be a great move. Foligno, Freddy, Acciari would be hell to play against.

That's not at all realistic for Barby, and why would you pay a 1st to move peanuts?

I think Barby would fit Boston lineup great and Montgomery loves him and know how to best utilize him. You won’t need to spend a first to move smith is all I was saying

Not giving a 1st to move smith

Harrison and a 2nd isnt worth for barbashev let alone another pick

Schenn wouldnt crack lineup unless there is injury in D, so moving a 3rd prob isnt worth

Too much for “Barby?” Maybe a smidge, but not wildly so.

Uhh yes, wildly so. That's a perfect way to put it. Ten teams will lap that offer, if they haven't already. And calling Harrison a "future middle 6 center" is the height of optimism. He's like the 10th best prospect in arguably the worst prospect pool in the league.

Too much to give up for Smith and too much for Barbashev too, he's a fringe 3rd liner. Best-case, I'd do Harrison and the 4th but I wouldn't trade for him.

Ya, draft picks going for a player, not draft picks going with a player to dump him.

Seriously dude? Surely you can read more carefully than that. Try again
