Hawks probably accept. And if the Rangers are willing to retain on Goodrow, I'm sure he could be worked into the Kane trade too. Hawks wouldn't want Jones, but maybe replace him w/ a young F prospect equal to Jones or upgrade the pick to a 2nd? Just tossing out a couple ideas.

SJ gets Jones (w/Goodrow) lol. I’d gather, Krav and a first could be a bit light where they get another piece. But not the ones you’d want haha. Like that second tier of prospect we have, Sykora, Trivigno, Korczak, etc

Suppose he did waive for Chicago, the trade would be much better for both teams really. Would cost more but NY needs some cap flexibility next year pretty badly

Trade would look like this imo:

- Kravtsov (he has to be the main prospect going for NY to do it)

- Goodrow (perhaps the rangers retain a bit)

-23 first rder (100% in the deal)

-24 first rder (could be tweaked)

-smaller piece, B prospect

If that '24 1st is unprotected, and depending on who the B prospect is, I can definitely see this as a framework for a deal. Goodrow's full cap hit is hard to swallow, but it's not like he's a useless player. I loved him as a Bolt.

Personally think it's a late second early third but that's this year not three drafts from now pics lose incremental value each year away the team has to wait for them.
