OTT accepts, but its a bit light for CBS, whos under no illusions/cap crunch to sell him for so little.

But not sure where you find 6.5mil in cap space?

He is out till playoffs last I heard so he isn’t helping any team with their run at playoffs and not building chemistry for the actual playoffs. That would be the reason he is so cheap

Yeah, I just dont think a late in the round 6th and a later 5th gets him, (considering his cap hit is ZERO until playoffs, thats a benefit for some), you never know though...Erik Gustaffson still gets traded for something every TDL.

I'd stay away from Nyquist. Too bad Drury couldn't dump Goodrow and trade for Bertuzzi. He'd be a perfect fit playing with Trochek and Kreider Bomb.

Yea makes sense I'd be willing to add a condition that if the Rangers make the conference finals and Nyquist plays in 50% games the 6th becomes a 3rd, is that the type of deal you mean?

Close. Remove the "conference finals" requirement (keep the 50% games) for that pick and it's what we're after. And in such a circumstance the 5th would be unnecessary.

Yep; that's the basic idea.

We wouldn't mind an even higher pick if y'all get even further in the playoffs, but it's not strictly necessary unless we get lots of inquiries.
