Détails additionnels:
Like the McBain and Smith trades last year, this is obviously with the assumption both Portillo and Johnson aren't going to sign with Buf and want to go to FA. Yotes jump the line to sign them and give them a chance to play in the NHL right away.

At minimum a 1st round pick with light protections (like top 10) and an A prospect or an A- and B+ prospect. But to be honest probably a little more. He's got great chemistry with Keller and loves being a Yote (he spoke with Keller and Fischer at the Tempe city counsel meeting over the summer) which is to say I think he's worth more to the Yotes than other teams realize. He's still young and he's part of the identified core forwards (Keller, Schmaltz, Crouse, Maccelli, Cooley, Guenther, Hayton) that should be around to come out of the rebuild

Thanks that’s helpful. I made a canes post trading for him and ghost and the breakdown was a 23 1st, 23 3rd and Drury (B/B+ prospect who’s ready now and has a very high floor. Likely a middle 6 center). Could tweak it to a better prospect but bones seem there.

I agree, that would be the bones. I think the thing that's tough with the Canes is that any 1st rounder is likely gonna be in the back of the 1st round like (26-32 range) just because of how good they are, so maybe you have to up the prospect or add another prospect to compensate for that. Drury is a top 5 prospect from the Canes system so he's definitely a real piece and I as a Yotes fan would understand that Morrow and Nikishin are too rich for Schmaltz. So maybe it's 23 1st, Drury and then any of Blake/Gunler/Honka

Of those three I’d rather include Honka but would be happy to do so. Also had a 3rd in there too which I think they’d be fine including.
