If rental Horvat is returning Raty + 1st Wings would want Morrow + 1st at minimum for Larkin. Probably would want another good asset as well since Canes 1st is more likely to be near the very end

Those two players aren't even remotely close in value. Wings aren't touching KK and Canes aren't dealing Necas. Wings are still in full rebuild, Yzerman has never said he doesn't want picks or prospects, that was Rutherford

For a moment, I'll set aside the logic that the Canes are NOT going to cough up Morrow plus a 1st for ANY rental... I don't believe for a second that Horvat was purchased 'as a rental'. That would make no sense in their situation. I have no doubt the Isles will extend him. It's just a matter of when. You can want all you like in this space.

Yzerman has said the same thing, He's trying to get Detroit out of the rebuild, Hence why he signed Copp, Perron, Kubalik, Chiarot, Maatta Hagg and others.

Morrow is equivalent to a 1st. If Larkin is a rental, I think this is fair value. If it is a sign and trade, then more needs to be added. I'd probably make the 2nd a conditional 1st, but this is a far fetched trade anyway.

If the sharks went that for Meier they can let the devils give up Luke Hughes for him instead
