Because those arent prime picks and its a guess of a prospect in Nemec, he was the best in his class sure but that was one of the weakest classes we have seen in a while, its like graduating top of your class with a 60%. Yeah youre the best in your class but you arent better than anyone else.

Any trade for Pettersson, JR would likely want Hischier included. Nemec would be nice for the RHD but Mercer isn't going to cut it. For Pettersson

The gap between Hischier and Pettersson isn’t that much. Wouldn’t matter anyway since neither side would move their guy.

The point is there is no chatter about an already extended Nico Hischer wanting out. EP wanting to leave however is starting to gather some steam, and that would make it a lot more realistic to see him being on the room and not for Nico
