Replace Lars Eller with Martin Fehervary and the two draft picks with your 2023 first and Los Angeles might consider it. Barring that, no chance.

Lars Eller is 33 years old and an UFA with 16 points in 51 games. Our fourth-line center is the younger, faster and 50% cheaper Blake Lizotte, who has 23 points in 53 games and is highly likely to re-sign with us after next season. And between Quinton Byfield, Rasmus Kupari and Gabe Vilardi, we have the #3C spot covered, so Eller is almost utterly useless to us. Roy is a top-4 RhD, our best defensive defender, and won't be moving unless the offer is great. (And we'd pair him with Fehervary, too.)

Mantha would also have to go to a team that actually has cap space to fit him in next year.
