Huge overpay for Demko who is also struggling like Petersen.

I don’t think Boeser is worth a ton, but I certainly don’t think he’s a complete negative value on the trade market for Vancouver.
Obviously I’d take that if I’m NJ, but expectation would be to not be paid to take Boeser like this

As a Leafs fan I don't hate the value in that trade, but I have little to no interest in Garland anymore. I wanted him back when he was with the Yotes but now I don't see how he fits the team

He’s top 5 goalie on a ridiculously good contract. Plus we take back Peterson for LAK. Fair value for what LAK is getting

I used the Mrazek trade as a base. Toronto traded Mrazek and moved down spots in the draft to select the player they were gonna select at 25.

The kind of dman Vancouver needs are gonna need to be drafted. Plus y’all have 4 1st rounders in this mock. One can easily be traded for a dman.

Garland has been unlucky. He’s a top 6F with depressed value that’ll strive in fast possession based system like Toronto

Panthers aren’t taking back miller even if it means offloading bob. It’s not worth it to take back an8 mil a year contract for 4 more years instead of bobs contract

Word from Canucls brass they are Not rebuilding. They have stated several times they are looking for player 26 and younger that can step in this yr or next.makes no sense to trade Demko. The rumours are just that rumours.IMHO.

Tell me in what category in his entire career Demko was in the top 5. The best that I've found is that one season, he was tenth in save percentage. But I'm willing to be educated.

By the way, there's absolutely no reason for you to think that you have to take back Petersen for us. He's fine where he is, so remove him and the first-round pick from consideration.

Look at what they got back for Demko. They got back 2 needs and potential redemption product. Furthermore goalies are a coin toss.

Other than this season he’s been in the top 10 in GSAx with one of the bottom of the barrel defences. Demko has the ability only few goalies have of stealing games. We’ve seen Demko almost steal a series against Vegas. Imagine now behind a competent defence. Easily top 5 goalie.

So the pans there are gonna buy out Bob?

It makes far more sense to take Miller and play him on a line with Barkov and Tkachuk. That’s easily one of the best lines in hockey. Plus Florida has the depth to compensate with Duclair, Verhague, Lundell, and Reinhart still there.

You’re not wrong but the panthers problem is defense not offense. So they give bob one more year then buy him out when it’s cheaper. Cause taking back 8 million still doesn’t help them out that much.

It does they save 2 million on the cap. Florida is in a position to not waste years. They have cup ambitions. Every year they’re not in the playoffs they’re wasting away. Furthermore Miller would help Florida make the playoffs this year which they need as MTL own their 1st this year.

Miller won’t help make the playoffs. The defense is atrocious hence why bob and knight aren’t playing well when having to deal with 2 on 1’s all day. If they had a good defense I’d be all about it but it’s not worth it. Wait 2 years and you’ll have 10 million in cap space. And Miller would be the oldest player on the team which isn’t what Florida is going for. Plus with all the rumors of killer being a locker room problem I’d rather stay away from him

He's a top 10 goalie, not a top 5. Although he hasn't played like it this year.
