Regardless on what the devils do now to draft day I think there’s a gamble. One that can burn them for years or be the move that people look back on as a key part of a dynasty.

Having the luxury of Luke and Nemec having ELCs means there’s a comfortable about of time to construct the cap.

Pinto fascinates me. He can be an unbelievable 3C or scoring winger on Hughes line that can take the draws. He’s a complete wildcard at 4 million AAV but it’s a risk I think the devils can take.

Ottawa may have a hard time matching because of Debrincat and the needs to find goaltending and viable blueliners
