This is a troll post or someone is delusional. That Detroit trade is awful.

That SJ trade needs a lot more for salary retention. This is a joke.

DET is not taking that for Larkin. Fraser is the only good piece and you know this.

Detroit counters and asks for Knies, Niemela, Minten, and your 2023 1st for Adam Erne, the ghost of Larry Murphy, and Ned (no retention).

Aw cmon. The Larry is still alive. I'd be reluctant to take him from the broadcast booth though... bringing him back would be unfair. Besides, he is retired so he doesn't need to lose in April to start golfing early.

Haha honestly I wasn't a big fan of 55, just that he came gift wrapped. Anything to get Jimmy Howard off the broadcast though, I am all for it.

To be honest, as a player I was Ozzy's biggest fan (as a kid, Osgood bought his rookie card and signed it for me after I showed excitement for recognizing him after '94). Osgood was TERRIBLE in his first year in the booth. Howard can get better. He is pretty bad now though.

For the record, HtF is Osgood not in the HoF?

Since Larkin played LW on Matthews line when the were on The USNDPT it would be foolish not to put them on the same line. Adding players like Larkin and Karlsson goes way beyond tweaks. But it really doesn't matter these trades heavily favor Toronto and would never be accepted.

Very fair, and I will say that with Ken and Mick there most look rough.

Guilty of being on some of the best defensive teams ever, and he had so many red line goals against on SportsCenter that the world got to see lol.

He also carried a piss poor Islanders to a competitive playoff series. He gave the Blues stability. He was a Gary Bettman cup rigging away from a Conn Smythe.

Osgood has received outside help classes or coaching to get better on-air.

Odd take, and I believe this... if he wore a helmet like Eddie Belfour, he would be viewed in a way different light. I think he would have gone down as a first ballot HOF.

LOL... this is such an awesome thread... grew up outside of Windsor, so I appreciate what the wings fans are bringing here... this whole thing made me smile this morning. Thank you all!

Osgood should be in the HOF... he will eventually... but he should be there... and so should CUJO... no cups but both these guys have so many wins... I havnt looked but top 5? Gotta be close...

If Rogie Vachon is in, these guys should be in.

As for these trades... I would add as much as is necessary to get these two deals done... whatever prospects and picks are necessary... I'd go full Cliff Fletcher on this deadline and empty the cupboard
