Leafs push for cup. Domi is relatively cheap salary/cap wise compared to other potential top six options - yet given Domi's production I think Chicago asks for something like this for him from Toronto. Domi/Kerfoot/Jarnkrok interchangeable on 2L depending on who fits best chemistry wise with Tavares and his RW.

Trading a guy with a brain tumor is just wrong.

Yeah, pull out Amirov for sure. Can't move him till he's healthy........both a dick move and too risky for CHI
A first with a cap dump like Kerfoot should be more than enough for Domi 50% retained.......esp if CHI moves Toews / Kane. They'll actually need the Kerfoot cap hit to get to the floor. Anderson can stay in too

Anderson with a prospect and a 1st, with Domi 50% retained, clears the cap situation for the deal. I think the Leafs would want to keep Kerfoot, not trade out one roster player for another this season up front, unless its that big an upgrade... with full health and this Domi trade, with, say, Arguchintsev or Villeneuve, or some other prospect, Anderson and a 1st:

Bunting - Matthews - Marner
Domi - Tavares - Nylander
Engvall - Kerfoot - Jarnkrok
Hunt - Kampf - Simmonds/Gaudette

Removing Kerfoot in that equation means Kampf as 3C and someone like Gaudette as 4C - I like the Leafs depth more if Kerfoot stays in this one!

Gosh I hope she isn't on here, doubt it, but sometime recently before I split with my last lady, during a scrabble game with my parents, my letters could spell "ADRI NAG" ... awkward but apt!

I disagree.........we don't need Kerfoot. He doesn't produce enough offensively and he doesn't play enough of a 200 ft game. He's gonna be a league minimum depth forward for the rest of his career

Bottom 6 would be:
Jarnkrok - Kampf - Engvall
ZAR - Holmberg - Simmonds / Hunt / McMann
(unless the Leafs can upgrade there too for a pick)

Amirov has brain tumour, just too risky because I doubt he’ll ever reach his potential at this rate and Joey Anderson really isn’t an nhl caliber player

Just give us the draft pick and end it there

Holmberg has been a pleasant surprise this year. Plays a complete game (for a rookie) and is pretty solidified in the bottom 6.
