Chicago would want more for both players and the Jets shouldn't really have any interest in Toews. Domi would be a good pickup though.

Far too much for Winnipeg to give up for a rental winger. No chance the Jets move a top 4 defenseman and two firsts for him. He's not worth significantly more than Horvat.

While the 3rd trade is nice for the Jets, there is no incentive for Columbus to do it.

Now, as far as a top 6 winger, we are truly reaching with Meier, the cost is going to be extremely high as a rental and will he sign a contract for starters... I'd like to see the Jet talking/seeing the cost of Konecny (Philly), Bertuzzi (Red Wings) and Florida (Reinhart)... Before, we go making the sexy deal on Meier...
