Everybody complaining about trading 1st round picks LMAOOO. The majority of mid to late first rounders are busts. Islanders "big time prospect" that they've traded was a 2nd round pick just two years ago. Lou has seemed to hit on multiple mid and late round picks that are producing at high level in the OHL and minor. This illusion of how highly rated mid/late firsts are is so stupid. With that being said they will not trade 2 firsts and a 4th for Chychrun.

I said the isles would miss the playoffs at the beginning of last season and I said the same thing this season . Looks like my opinion will be right!

In my opinion Islanders have a very good defensive core, one one of the best all around center ices in the league with the addition of Horvat and Add in generational goaltending and it sounds like a pretty good team to me!
