Description
Greiss might not move just so Hofer can play the rest of the year in the AHL.
Just saw Vegas is interested in Acciari so threw something together for a prospect. Doubt he is moved though
Vegas is apparently interested in Barbashev as well, but unless they are willing to deal Chayka or a 2023 1st I don't see it

IMO, if Robertson is in the deal, the first should be a second. Otherwise we'd rather have Barbashev for the 2nd and 3rd

Ehh what? You mean the small minus skating winger who is out long term yet again? I honestly have zero clue why anyone is trading him or trading for him right now, but somehow a rash of people are doing one or the other. I'm baffled.

by this dumb logic the Blues shouldn't trade ROR because he is injured and a minus. Robertson is young and still has very good potential. Blues fans have massively over estimated what the returns for O'Reilly and Tarasenko will be

KK isn’t the prospect. He’s looked extremely solid and a RH shot. If we were to move him it better be in a package for a way better scorer

Checks ROR's +/- .... checks ROR's injury situation... Confused

unless you were referring to ROR being that minus injury riddled winger you cant understand why people are trading for

Setting aside the estimation gulf, Robertson was at most a B+ prospect before he stopped being able to stay in one piece for long. That might be specifically because he's a small guy who is a below average skater who loves to mix it up in the corners anyway - it's a dangerous blend. I rate him as being of solid 3rd line quality if he can stay healthy, but that's becoming a big if. More importantly, who trades or trades for a seriously injured player? This scenario isn't realistic.

And I never suggested ROR be traded while he's injured, so I have no idea what this stretch is for.

First of all, someone who cannot understand why teams would want to acquire O'Reilly even if he's a few weeks from returning is just pretending. There's nothing weird about that and we all know it. I'm not sure how ÷/- came into this, but yeah.... ROR had a miserable 10 game slump to start the season (which was like halfbhis minus), then he had Leivo blowing countless set-ups for a while and the Blues are trying to run away with the league lead in ENGs allowed. You totally caught him. The jig is up. He's having a rough season. He's also almost back, rested, still very good and a tried and true playoff beast.

Yeah, that's totally the same thing as Robertson. Carbon copy equivalency.

What do you mean you don’t know how plus minus got brought up, you said in your comment “small minus skating winger”

The exact 2 negative things you had to say about Robertson are the exact 2 things ROR is right now lol

Yeah, as in a minus skater, as in below average skater compared to NHL players. It has nothing to do with +/- beyond having a word in common.

And ROR is neither small nor a winger. And a generally durable UFA nearly back from an incidental injury is not at all the same thing as a guy out six months who already has an extensive injury history at a very young age.

Should probably say that about his skating then and not use lingo associated with the actual stat, which as you can see confused more than 1 person.

Yeah I’m aware that he’s not small or a winger, that was the joke that went over your head

There are plenty of people who refer to players' skating ability as plus or minus, especially when talking about prospects. Robertson is a minus skater, this is a widely agreed thing. Even Toronto writers say so.
