montreal literally made an announcement yesterday they will give a status update on his injury by the end of the week

Eddy is day-to-day, so could be just out for precautionary reasons, Monahan was skating for the last 2 weeks and was said to be on track to return late this week. Given this is the last game before the ASG, it is likely they are both getting extra rest before their return on Feb 11th but there could also be a trade in the works.

A team doesnt make a statement on a player to say they will give an update on his health on a guy a few days later if hes healthy and on track to return. If he was in fact on track to return why wouldnt they just have said that instead.

Ok Dr. Robidas! LMAO, you know nothing about his injury and in fact you regularly spew crap that isn't true. Monahan has been skating for 2 weeks and was participating in practice in a non-contact jersey since the beginning of the week. Players who's careers are over don't participate in practices.

He skated a few times and hasn't been seen in two weeks. He's MIA and has had serious injury issues for three years now. I'm literally a Canadiens fan and have been following along with his rehab. I don't think he plays after this contract is up but whatever, go ahead and insult and call names instead of having a productive conversation...

that is a link from Jan 23rd, today is Jan 31st, last Monday was the 30th. A week has gone by since this report. This actually doesnt help your argument, he tried to skate a week ago, and now has gone MIA with the team giving a statement that an update on his health will be provided

I get Toronto coverage, not Montreal's but Sportsnet made an announcement about Edmunson and Monahan not being at practice (they didn't mention anything about injuries)

I prefer to keep this as a reminder on why I should never report on anything besides Toronto coverage
