Interesting for the Islanders, they clearly won't be selling and are gunning for the playoffs. There's a lot of risk for them since they aren't in a playoff spot at the moment and Horvat is a rental until proven otherwise.

Vancouver I think did pretty well considering they wouldn't let teams talk to Horvat beforehand and traded him as a rental. Raty and the 1st round pick are the big pieces, but Beauvillier has value too and could return additional assets or stick around long-term.

Pretty bold move by Lou. This is pretty fair if the Isles sign him to a reasonable extension. Otherwise, that's a lot to give up for a rental, given what the standings look like.

Bad for the Nucks to be in this position, but a good return under the circumstances.
