1- he’s a rental, no thanks
2- we’re one of the top scoring teams in the league, he offered NOTHING that we need

Why are we trading Zucker?

I'd rather the Oilers keep him as an internal rental and review in the summer.

How are we keeping him? He is going to want at least similar contract and we extended Rackell and Rust last off-season. He plays well and will some fire but injuries and age will make the next contract tricky.

I'm not saying we're keeping him. I'm just wondering why we are trading a guy who has been one of the best forwards on the team. So I guess you're just saying the season is over then?

I'm sure he'll have to take a paycut - I don't see him getting more than Rust or Rakell
