That wouldn’t be hard. Detroit has a ton of cap space especially if (when) Bert walks and if they buyout/terminate vranas contract. They will have something like 25 million in cap space this summer. That said they would be better off waiting until the summer to get him rather than give up that much

Lot of ifs there but yes it's not mathematically impossible, it never is. How much better would the Wings be is also part of the question. If I were Stevie Y I'd definitely be waiting on the summer rather than wasting massive chunks of cap on Boeser & Myers and keep the assets. Roll the dice. If he goes elsewhere and extends so be it.

Over complicating it with myer and boeser we don't need all that. Trade and extend horvat then look for an affordable solution if you gave up Hronek not 6 million dollar Myers.

Y’all forget Myers’s makes 1.5m est more than hronek so pretty close there.. n Stevie prefers big mobile D ..even though he’s older but still effective if used right..boeser who knows if he sucks u eat it or buyout ..horvat $8.5 AAV tops but also remember panik comes off cap this summer abyby drops from 2.1 to 1m cap hit n Nielsen 500k comes off too .. plus cap will go up 1 m minimum then likeky 4-5 m following summer it’ll likeky be near 94 M when seider Raymond need new deals .. y’all think ahead we’d be fine.. it’s big picture move ..if it happens
