Because the forwards aren’t scoring?? Markstrom is literally still the guy this season whether you like that or not. He will play the majority the rest of the way, less than the initial plan I’m sure but expect a 60/40 split in favour of Markstrom, you let your top 3 goalie from not even 9 months ago find it. Also, we have Comrie signed for next year as well
And Levi, who is seen as our goalie of the future, is expected to sign after his season is done in college hockey in a few months

I'm with you, I don't hate Markstrom and I don't think he won't bounce back but there's also no guarantee this isn't the beginning of regression.

Vladars stepping up, Wolfs ready to at least start getting a look as a backup.

The leagues trending towards not needing a #1 elite goaltender, Avs won with Keumper, no need to have 6 million on the books for another 3 years.

We're so tight up to the cap for this season and the next, we should really get brutal with our overpriced and under performing contracts.
