Just begging for these lines

Description
I really don't understand how GG can't figure out his lineup. This option keeps all players at their natural position. There are two others that don't that also split up the kid line which has arguably been the best line all season long.

Spreads out offense over three lines.

Everyone is talking about how good 93 is defensively, put him in-between two skilled wingers. Opens up more space for 74 for his game to grow as 93 and 10 will be the primary threats.

Kid line as stated above

20-10-26 was good in the game or two they were together. Spreads some offense to the 3rd line creating scoring depth.

4th line is a throw-together line, my expectation is that 50 will only get a few games and then be sent down again. Shift 21 to left wing and sub in 15

PP1: 23 is QB up top, 93 at left circle, 10 at bumper, 20 at net front and 72 at right circle
PP2: 79 is QB up top, 16 goes to left circle, 74 at bumper, 13 at net front and 24 at right circle. Gets "only capable of taking clappers from the point" Trouba off the PP and subs in a player that can actually make plays happen.

Either these PP lines or swap 72 and 74 to keep the lines below together.

Alt fwd Lineups:

I like the lines and agree with keeping everyone in their neutral position. Obviously if they upgrade at RW by TDL, Kravtsov could be the one traded and that player slots in there. I like the rationale for the top line, would just worry about forechecking with them. As for PP1, I would keep Panarin in the same spot and add Chytil to the bumper, so that way when they pass to Zib, he can either shoot, play Kreider, or play Chytil all for a shot. As for PP2, I would put Trocheck at net front and Laf on left point.

All fun to speculate! grin

There were a few reasons to keep Chytil on the right circle and Panarin in the bumper
1- PP is stale because the lack of a LH shot at the right circle. Everyone knows the Zib shot is coming. Adding that element would open up more lanes
2 - Panarin has a sick & quick shot. The bumper could incentivize him to shoot more and adds an option we don't currently have at the bumper.
3 - With panarin in the bumper, the D would have to constantly move to cover both him and zibanejad. More movement on the PKers tires them out quicker and the movement opens up more lanes.

This is obviously just my opinion given my experience with hockey both playing and watching.
