Hard pass from Detroit. Dumolin is trash. We'll ride out Vrana's contract in hopes that he keeps trending upward in GR and can return next season.

Can Pens fans stop dumping their garbage to Detroit? Dumolin would not be a regular on tbe roster.

And stop devaluing Vrana. No point in trading him for useless picks or players. He's playing better in Grand Rapids. His career can still pick back up

Dumoulin is a massive massive upgrade over Ben Chiarot

I dont think so. I like the idea because he's a great player, but I just dont think we get him. We'd have to overpay because they really have no reason to trade him. He's been great and their team is great and Kapanen/Heinen/O'Connor wouldn't help them really and would just break up chemistry.

And Chiarot has 3 more years at a cap hit over 4 million. Chiarot is fine on the 3rd pair. Not that big of an upgrade for Dumolin

Isles look for a pick or prospect in a Parise trade - O'Connor is 24 now and a 4th liner without much upside. Parise probably gets back a 3rd round value - on pace for 20+ goals, can play up and down the lineup and on special teams, all wrapped up in a $750K cap hit is pretty valuable.

If you had bothered to check, you'd have seen that we already have 5 LD on our roster. In addition to that we have the best prospect pipeline in the entire league on that position with ; Edvinsson, Wallinder, Viro, Sebrango, Johansson, Buium, McIsaac.

Why would Isles do tvat?

He would be a great fit, I just dont think it's possible. I think Arturri Lehkonen is someone we should've gone after last year though. Perfect 3rd liner.

Then you don't get him and we can keep him looking to rebound next year.
