He got a full NMC for a reason. You can't sell on him at all unless he wants to go

Nothing happening like this right now. Maybe after the season, depending on how the Cup push goes, and what BOS intentions with Pasta are.

Kreider isn't allowed to have bad games, even if he's injured. This post is incoherent. You're trading him, presumably because of his defensive lapses in the last game. And your suggested panacea is trading all of our assests for dudes who have never played D.

that's what I am saying! it's one freaking game for god sake. So panarin is allowed to turn the puck over 10 times a game but the one time Kreider does it, people blow a gasket. People are actually giving him crap for missing that open net too. Should he have scored there? Yea he should have. But hear me out, when was the last time Kreider missing an opportunity like that? It's utterly ridiculous. Our fanbase needs to wisen up and stop being such sissys all the time!

For sure had a rough night last night...but that can happen to anyone. Ironically, the perception on his game last night changes 180 degrees IF his tip in goes in or he wins the puck battle which led to the tying goal...it happens! So any decision to move him can not be based on that. But after the season...due to self inflicted Cap constraints, moving Kreider might be one of several moves they explore to free up Cap going forward. Wont be easy though, as an NMC is involved with just about every option they would try to consider.

There are many other things that should be explored before you consider moving on from CK, even if he's the most desirable player out of the bunch. This team cannot continue to give away goals for nothing because they make bad decisions. Bad decisions on top of bad decisions. Out of 82 games, CK helps you win 70. And if he's healthy come postseason, he adds value there.

You literally put out a hit on Trouba if that's what it takes, before you consider moving CK. He makes 6.5 and he'll score 30 goals. I don't understand why he's even a consideration for a cap casualty.

Don’t disagree with anything you are saying…CK is certainly not my first choice to make the Cap work out. But if the team does find itself on a position where they need to lose cap OR lose KAM, Chytil, or LaF then all options are on the table…so the choice will come down to 1. What move is most doable and 2. Which (if several moves possible) is most beneficial. Sure- I’d rather lose Trouba than CK…but much more involved in the decision than that.
