Exactly, the best I could see a team giving for Dadonov is a 4th if we retain 50%

Good luck selling that to GM’s pinned to the cap because even at his low production that’s almost infinitely better than Drouin and his ZERO goals. What’s the possible selling point you make to convince somebody that not only is it a good idea that they take on a guy with ZERO goals and a $5M cap number but you want them to give MTL assets for the pleasure of taking him on? I think you didn’t understand my quote, I said he does, I meant he really think he does return something. So I even add that he thinks Dadonov is worth two picks when he is in the same cap dump situation than Drouin. Both aren’t worth **** IMO maybe half retained for ONE late pick but that would plan Z for a team
