Swap out Ryan Johnson for the Philly 2nd rounder and the Hawks would consider this, depending on how they rate Nadeau as a prospect.

The Hawks have 6 left shot D men aged 22 or under they are very high on. Two in the AHL who are ready for NHL ice time, and 4 more (one in NCAA and 3 in Juniors) who will all be turning pro for next season. Johnson's chances of NHL ice time w/ Hawks probably isn't much better than it is w/ the Sabres. Left D is honestly the only position Hawks won't be looking at in trades or the 2023 draft.
