He's got 21 goals in 46gms, he's a 3 time 20 goal scorer. Yes maybe that is all he does but he does it alot in 14min a game. He's definitely worth a 1st, especially a late one like Carolina’s will be or a top prospect - Morrow

"Morrow had an excellent freshman season being one the best defensemen in Hockey East. Morrow is very good at certain things in particular when he has the puck. He’s a very skilled and creative player who can make a lot of plays and has a big shot from the point. Morrow is also a tall, mobile defenseman and the toolkit overall is exciting from a pro projection standpoint.
His defense and risk-management are concerning and he can be frustrating to watch, but he has so much to work with I think he can make it as a
second or third-pair defenseman that’s used in a particular way."
I would want more than prospect whose ceiling is an NHL third or second pairing.
Remember
@Canesfan21_ it was
@fullblowncaniac90 who
WANTED THE ASKING PRICE "Basically a name your price for any of these players."
Dream on Victor would be your top goal maker this year.
If you want him, it will cost.
Or as
@Stadel said "Get the sense the Sabres will keep Olofsson. On pace for 30+ goals, under contract for another year, and everybody loves his goal song."
Quoting another post:
"Olofsson, Olofsson, Olofsson.
Over his career he was labeled a PP specialist who could only score because Eichel was feeding him the puck.
Well this year let's hope both of those ideas have been debunked.
ONLY 4 of his 21 goals have come on the PP and Jack has not assisted on any of his goals this year.
As a matter of fact his center is a waiver claim, Tyson Jost (OMW what an amazing pick up).
YTD only 26 NHL forwards (LW or C or RW) have more goals, only 16 have more even strength goals than he and two of those play for the Sabres.
ONLY 6 forwards have a higher Goals/60 than his 1.9.
He would the leading scorer (or be tied for the lead) of 14 NHL teams (including Carolina), yet some think he is not worth a first?
A reality check is needed here, he is having a career year and would return more than a first at the TDL especially since he is signed for one more year."
OMW I just noticed that Morrow is not signed.
He would NOT be the prospect the Sabres would want.
