Going to have to disagree with you good buddy, if COL wants an early-ish pick back with a 50% retained Henrique, COL 2023 1st has to be involved, and I'll ship back their ANA's 2023 3rd. If its the 2024 1st then there is no pick going back to COL.

Never. COL 23 1st is nigh untouchable and a guy like Henrique doesn’t rate that even at 50% retained. I think some teams are going to be disappointed in the returns they will get after 3yrs of flat cap and teams having spent assets pretty heavily in the last few years.

If Henrique was a rental, I would agree with you, but if you buy him this year with 50% retention, you are also buying cap space for next years team.

Frankly, we have no need to move him, he is still one of the top performers on our team, and he is loved by our fan base and New Jerseys. If you want him with retention and are not willing to give up premium assets, then call back next year when he is a rental. Otherwise, we will hang onto this.
