Greenway is worth more than that. Minnesota isn't paying a 1st for rental of any kind. The reason Russo said Minnesota is interested in Toews is he would cost only a 2nd round pick and nothing else. Much like the trade with Chicago last year

I understand that. The only reason I would see them giving up a first for a rental like this is if they were able to get another first for dumba. Otherwise I think swapping in the two and a different prospect would make sense

Greenway has been good, it's just that he doesn't put up stats you see on the scoresheet. He makes his line-mates better with his ability to protect the puck and give them space.

haven't watch many if any wild games so kinda have to base it off stats but fair enough haha

As stated above, Wild's 2023 2nd and Lorenz should be enough for Toews half retained. Maybe the 2nd alone if Minnesota is the only team Toews will waive for.
