I don’t think that’s a bad package but, I do think San Jose would hold out for a higher end prospect and a potentially higher pick than a team that’s near the top of the league in points.

It’s more just depth players and a late 1st. I think San Jose wants a top prospect and a 1st at least. Kravstov to me doesn’t have much value even though he was drafted high; hasn’t shown much of anything in the nhl or ahl. Jones doesn’t really fit a need for San Jose either and has a lower ceiling.

Rangers don't really have very interesting prospects out of their top guy in Othmann, so Rangers could look at this as their 1st and Lundkvist for Meier if they deal both their 1sts.

However...if the Rangers do get him, is your plan to then flip him at the draft, because you aren't getting an equally good package after they took value out of the playoff run as everyone knows the Rangers can't afford the QO, and Meier holds all the cards on teams he's willing to extend with.
