Gain who is now basically a pp specialist they don't need in Kane (#2 pp% in the league) give up the few futures they have ? You don't out score your way to a Cup you defend your way there.

Bolts aren't giving up Cole from their backend, and Hawks aren't waiting 3 drafts for their payoff in a deal for Kane. But it would be fun watching Kaner dish the cross ice feeds to Stamer in his office.
