Paying that much for Chychrun and putting him on the 3rd pair would be a waste. He needs to be top 4 and PP1 to justify that cost.

But that’s the thing. I don’t want a guy that can play “anywhere.” I want a guy that fills a role. I don’t think he’s the upgrade on Dumba people think he is and there isn’t a spot on PP1 for him to take.

I think he could bump addison down to PP2. And I think the reason he is an upgrade is because he's controllable and cheap through cap hell

I think it’s time to stop using “cap hell” to justify dream moves. We will ice roughly the same team through it all, possibly better if Rossi produces in the show.

Also, Chychrun contract value is much less each passing day. He’s probably a $6 mil player and that’s not the surplus value that justifies this kind of trade.

I don't think Dumba has value to AZ. And I don't think Greenway and a first is enough to trade Chychrun. They'd want a solid D prospect included instead of Dumba, and that's assuming they really like Greenway.
Whether or not that makes sense for Minnesota up against the cap is another discussion.
