The Joey for Miller trade idea just doesn’t work for the Preds. No one wants that terrible extension

Miller brings more offense which is something the preds lack. I agree it's a risk with the term but realistically the preds probably have a couple of years here to compete given the age of their core players.

It’s a stretch to think the Preds are buyers. Furthermore, since we brought up Tommy Novak back in late December, the Preds have been in the top 5 in goals per game. We no longer have that same need to add scoring

I mean this wouldn't really be a buyers move. It is more of a lateral move that would actually clear 2.5mil in capspace at the deadline. On that note, if the preds have a strong month and find themselves in a wildcard position at the deadline I fully expect them to be buyers (again because of the age of their core players).
