Trading a 1st is a buying move. Aquiring Armia is a selling move. Edmonton would have to be really desperate to accept.
Monahan has been solid, but there are better players that aren't worth a '23 first. He's not a 2C on a contender.
Boeser even in the year he's having is worth more than Dvorak has been with the Habs. This trade doesn't do anything a Vancouver team that will probably need to rebuild/retool needs it to do.
Drouin still has 0 goals and 8 points, and his defensive metrics are bad. I'm not sure how, but you managed to offer the Pens a player that would not improve their bottom 6. I'm kinda impressed.
Tarasov isn't behind Merzlikens or Korpisalo, he's still developing and neither of the others have been a good option.
What use does Buffalo have in Rem Pitlick? I'd rather have Portillo for the time being, even with UPL and Levi in the system.
