They may pass but I don't think it's an easy pass. Isles are clearly intended to win now. Schmaltz is a good player and definitely upgrades their top 6. Can play wing and C.

Would take a 2nd + 3rd to dump Bailey (at least), which is Odelius and a 3rd. So it is a 1st for Schmaltz

First off, I'm not moving my 1st in 2023 for anyone right now. We aren't 1 player away, so I'm keeping my 1st rounder and a top young Dman. We can hang on to bailey for 1 more year. Not worth giving up and 2nd and 3rd to move him. Plus Lou as made it known, the old core is not going anyway this year.

this is the exact opposite of the how the isles think. The isles are not intended to win now, they aren't trading a 1st and top D prospect for a "good player". An elite top Line sniper, sure.

Change it to Keller and isles might do it.
