In your taxi squad add Logan Mailloux. I’ve watched him play a dozen games this year and he is a future top 4 dman.

    Sabres trade is a maybe
We have been in contact with MTL about Tuch,
but i also don’t think we’d give up much for him

Portillo is a good goalie prospect
But if he doesn’t wanna sign with us, then maybe a deal like this is possible

Report says he will test the market, better get a former 2nd rounder prospect than losing him for nothing

Scouting report says he needs to work a lot on his positioning and the gap. He ain't NHL ready from those reports

Can you provide your sources? This article is from over a year ago and it clearly says he will play in the nhl. Plus my comment said he’s a future top 4 dman. In fairness you did say next season. He’s just having an amazing year and he looks very good. https://www.hockeyfeed.com/nhl-news/logan-mailloux-nhl-ready-next-season-forcing-habs-into-tough-decision

I won't find the article, saw it on Twitter maybe 3-4 weeks ago. Others who are watching him says he's great on the PP, but his defensive zone coverage is below average ... in the OHL (need to consider this). I'm sure he'll play in the NHL, I just can't see him fighting for a roster spot (that's my opinion). Barron & Mailloux should play in Laval next year, Kovacevic is fine for now & Wideman the perfect 7th dman.

And both those guys might be in Laval next season. Not a bad thing.
