Josh Anderson is not worth that price.
That cap from his bloated contract can be used for other important things, like resigning Severson or Graves, or going after a free agent that is good at hockey

Resigning Severson or Graves! Wow one of the few who suggest this. I know we have guys waiting in the wings but it looks like guys like Bahl are not ready yet IMO. I too think at least one should be brought back. Unless L Hughes makes an appearance and tears it up (I am doubtful). Nemec is not ready yet IMO. Tough spot Fitz is in!
Anderson trade just wont go away

I’m pretty sure one of them is going to stick around tbh. Severson gets an unnecessary amount of hate for equally unnecessary boneheaded mistakes he makes, but behind those rare occasions he’s a very good defender who helps give NJ one of the best right sides in the league.
Plus if resigning Severson wasn’t on the table still, he would’ve been traded a year ago when his value was highest

I’m not very “in touch” with FLA’s team, so I have this question:

Why would FLA let go of a 30 goal scorer who’s only making 3M$?

Anderson has one of the worst contracts in the league and this is common knowledge. You'll have to give up assets to dump him.

Have you not been following whats going on at all? Credible sources reporting interest has been STRONG in Andy since last year because players like him are hard to find. I don't understand people who DO NOT watch him night in night out saying he's a bad contract lol. he's a big, fast, mean player who is going to hit 20 goals again. This is why Habs fans are split on keeping him

Big, fast, mean, not good enough of a goal scorer to make up for his defensive shortcomings.
Better players can be found in UFA for league minimum, like Daniel Sprong and Sonny Milano last offseason
